NZP began its journey in 2008 with the goal of identifying existing or emerging technologies that reduce kilowatt hour (kWh) consumption. Given utilities in the U.S. bill primarily on kWh consumption energy efficiency improvements that impact kWh offers a return on investment and benefit the environment. This is good for business bottom lines and the environment.
Unveiling a Game-Changing Technology
Voltage Optimization (VO) was found to be an established technology in Japan, United Kingdom, and Europe that had yet to arrive in North America. VO has not been offered in North America due to comparatively low energy costs which are not found elsewhere in the world. As energy prices began to increase, VO became commercially viable in North America as the technology began to pay for itself over a short duration with a 50-year life expectancy.
Leading the Charge
Today NZP is the principal supplier to VOZ solutions in North America providing a wide range of VO products that scale from small retail environments all the way to industrial and grid applications.
